Unconfirmed reports suggest that Google is about to go full evil. In the fight against fake news, Google is (allegedly) planning to roll out sweeping Chinese-style censorship. Worse, rumors suggest Google is planning to punish anyone who attempts to subvert its censored search.
Google Goes Full Evil – 2020 to See Sweeping Censorship
Can you be trusted to make your own diet, health, and general wellness decisions? You might think so. However, Google is in firm disagreement. In June, Google strangled organic search traffic pointing to top alternative health website Mercola.com.
Traffic to Mercola is down 99% compared to traffic benchmarks taken from the start of 2019. The reason? A June Google Broad Core Algorithm Update. — Specifically, one which disassociates sites like Mercola from health-specific keywords.
Now, any time you enter a health-related search word into Google, such as “heart disease” or “Type 2 diabetes,” you will not find Mercola.com articles in the search results. The only way to locate any of my articles at this point is by searching for “Mercola.com heart disease,” or “Mercola.com Type 2 diabetes.”
Even skipping the “.com” will minimize your search results, and oftentimes the only pages you’ll get are blogs, not my full peer-reviewed articles. – Source
According to Health magazine Natural News, Google censoring Mercola is also just the beginning.
Mercola is Just a Taste of Things to Come
Natural News was allegedly contacted earlier this year, by an anonymous Big-Tech industry insider. They warned that social media giants like Facebook were planning to de-platform Natural News. This happened shortly afterward on June 8th.
Now Natural News is reporting that the same Big-Tech industry insider is warning of an all-out attack on the alternative health industry.
- By the end of 2020, Google will (allegedly) completely obfuscate most alternative health websites from its search.
- Google’s Chrome browser will (allegedly) block sites not considered in-line with Big-Pharma health narratives.
- Topics Google is planning to censor include the effects of next-generation 5G cellular radiation, pesticides on food, and the relation of each to cancer.
- Other topics Google is planning to censor include the health benefits of organic nutrition and any controversy centering on GMO foodstuffs.
Where Google goes full evil, though, concerns planned penalties for anyone attempting to circumvent its censorship.
Google to Implement China-Style Cyber Social Credit Scores
Google (allegedly) doesn’t believe anyone needs to worry about things like pesticides in food. However, Natural News is also reporting that trying to bypass censorship, will result in Orwellian penalties.
Real-time reporting back to Google from Google’s Chrome web browser will be used to track users who attempt to bypass Google’s censorship. Every attempt will result in a negative social penalty score. Get too many, and Google will ban you from using certain Google services.
If Google Goes Full Evil, There is No Going Back
If in 2020 Google goes full evil, doing so could signal the end of the Internet as we know it. Of course, it is absurd to think that this is even a possibility. However, Big-Tech companies have been making their agenda clear for some time.
Mounting evidence shows Facebook and Twitter closing shop on anyone with outspoken conservative opinions. This, of course, is celebrated by the left. However, precedents for censoring political opinions affect everyone. While it might be the right today, it could very well be the left tomorrow.
Google has also recently demonstrated that it can censor content in real-time with impunity.
In June, Google, Youtube, and Vimeo, simultaneously purged a Project Veritas video from video servers and web searches. — Specifically, a recording of Jen Gennai, Google’s Head of Responsible Innovation, suggesting that Google is planning to manipulate the 2020 race for the White House.
Elizabeth Warren is saying we should break up Google. And like, I love her but she’s very misguided, like that will not make it better it will make it worse, because all these smaller companies who don’t have the same resources that we do will be charged with preventing the next Trump situation, it’s like a small company cannot do that. – Source
Be Brave and Start Embracing Google Alternatives
At present, James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas video has been almost expunged from the Internet by Google. However, it is still available to stream freely via blockchain-based video streaming platform D.Tube. More importantly, if you don’t want Google censoring what you see online, there are viable alternatives to the Chrome web browser.
Switch From Chrome to Brave to Safeguard Your Browsing Privacy
It might not be possible to stop Google censoring search results. However, it is possible to stop Google spying on how you browse the Internet. It is also possible to circumvent censorship to a degree, by directly supporting censored online content creators.
Brave is an opensource browser, quickly gaining popularity among online privacy advocates.
When using Brave, ads, Google, and website tracking are all disabled by default. More uniquely, though, Brave users can earn Brave Basic Attention Tokens (BAT), by opting to view ads while browsing. It is then possible to reward earned tokens to independent content creators.
(In the future, it will also be possible to exchange earned BAT tokens for other cryptocurrencies.)
Stand up to Internet censorship. Start using Brave to safeguard your privacy and your right to browse whatever content you want to online.
